Question:
Do you offer a better quality product to replace the defective Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters I purchased from you in 2016? I like the design, as stated in my original review, but the rubber only lasted one season. When I took them off after the first winter, I stored them in the door pocket of my truck, which is parked inside my barn, so the rubber was not exposed to the sun during the off season. By the second winter, the rubber bands were cracked and breaking away from the center ring. Fortunately, I did not need my chains last winter. This season 2017/2018, I am using my chains, but have reverted back to 15inch rubber bungees. Do you think I received a fluke pair of defective adjusters, or is this a problem that is inherent to the material used by this manufacturer?

Expert Reply:
The Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster # TCMA2 that you referenced has been well reviewed by our customers and there is not an inherent problem that we are aware of. I would recommend that you keep the adjusters inside because the cold can also cause issues with rubber.
There is another adjuster available for your Titan Snow Chains # TC2821 that I recommend you take a look at if you do not want to use the rubber version. The Titan Chain Link and Spring Tire Chain Adjuster # TCSA2 uses springs and chain links for tension; I've added a link to a video review of this adjuster for you to take a look at.
