Does EcoHitch for 2015 Volkswagen Jetta Fit TDI Model

Question:

In the model or, it states that the Ecohitch won’t fit the TDI sedan, but in several QandAs, techs state it will fit. I own a TDI sedan and it looks to me like it should work well. Scott C’s reply to Joachim doesn’t answer the question he asked and also says the Ecohitch won’t fit…”look at the photo and you’ll see why.” Photo is not of an Ecohitch. I think Joachim and the public-facing website should be corrected, as we all should not be more confused when we try to find the right hitch and also see Scott C’s wrong explanation

At one point the EcoHitch part # 306-X7311 was listed as not a fit for the TDI models of the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta sedan but we recently determined that it does fit when we contacted them so that is why there is some confusion. I can can assure it does fit.
