Air Bags or RAS for a 2022 Ram 3500 Towing a 5th Wheel Trailer?

I have been contemplating purchasing the Roadmaster Active Suspension for my 2022 Ram 3500 SRW. I have 3.5” squat with my fifth wheel with a pin weight of 3100 lbs. I did not know if this system would do much with that weight, or should I go with air bags. I appreciate your time.

Since your 5th wheel trailer has that high of a pin weight I recommend going with air bags over an RAS system. The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit item # RAS3613-HD you were looking at tops out at 3,000 lbs and does not work if you have a top overload spring.
For your 2022 Ram 3500 SRW you will want the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2615. These springs have a 5,000 lbs capacity which will offer you plenty of support when towing. When you are not towing these air springs will provide you with a comfortable ride.
The Firestone item # F2615 kit is compatible with in bed hitches. Depending on which one your Ram has you may need to use the same holes in the frame. If you encounter this you will want to use the 5th wheel hitch bolts as they are rated higher than the air bag ones. I have linked a review video below.
I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command II item # F2219. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust your air springs from the comfort of your cab. The dual path compressor will allow you to adjust your air bags individually to compensate for off center loads like a heavy slide out on one side of your 5th wheel trailer.
