Mostly Hidden Trailer Hitch with Gloss Finish that Fits 2017 Subaru Forester

Hello, my vehicle is a 2017 Forester XT with the dual exhausts. I saw the video of the install for my exact car and it appears that the fit is good, with no contact with the muffler hooks or rubber hangers after install. However, I prefer a glossy finish. Is there a Curt hitch or a different brand with the exposed crossbar that is gloss black that is has a superior fit on the 2027 Forester XT? Also, what concealed crossbar model has the best fit for this vehicle? Thank you very much and best regards.

Since you prefer a glossy finish and a mostly hidden trailer hitch for your 2017 Subaru Forester XT the hitch you'd want is the Draw Tite part # 76182 which is both. Only the hitch opening hangs below the rear bumper so it's mostly out of sight which also helps with ground clearance. This is compatible with dual exhaust models as well which means there would be no interference with the exhaust once installed either.

If you needed trailer wiring too the Tekonsha kit part # 118467 is the easiest to install and also is very reliable.
