Question:

Hi I have a 2020 Thor Compass built on a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 170in WB. I am looking for rear suspension upgrades that will reduce sway from wind and other trucks and perhaps take some of the sag off the back end due to the weight of the coach. We do tow a 2021 Ford escape 4 down. I was looking at the Sumo Spring Yellow version ss338 54, the Timbren TMBSP35A or the Super Spring custom suspension stabilizer and sway control SS62KV. Was wondering what the best option would be of these three or if you had any other suggestions. Thanks

Since your main focus is sway reduction, I recommend the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SS62KV for your 2020 Thor Compass. These work like sway bars and will help reduce sway by up to 30 percent.

The # SSR-338-54 would also work, but I would choose those if your main concern was additional support to reduce sag. They won't do the same job in terms of sway reduction. I would not choose the Timbren over either of these.

In addition to the sway reduction provided by the # SS62KV you will also have the benefit of reduced sag. The stabilizers will flex under load for additional support and deactivate when they aren't under load. They can also be customized to help minimize any unwanted impact on your ride quality.
