Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 is confirmed to fit your 2022 Mazda CX-5. If you have a Grand Touring model you will have an additional underbody trim piece that will need to be permanently removed for hitch installation.

I recommend installing the Vehicle Wiring Harness # C45FV when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector. This connector can connect to most small trailers as well as provide a connector for Auxiliary Lights # C53201. The auxiliary lights are needed if you are using a hitch mounted accessory that impairs the view of your tail lights for other drivers.
