Recommended Hitch and Wiring for Carrier Platform on a 2020 Mazda CX-5

My wife has a MAZDA CX5 2020. We have a wheelchair carrier platform wit brake lights. We need to have a hitch installed . What is the approximate cost of hitch and installation ?

The pricing of a hitch and and the installation can vary based on the manufacturer and the location where you get the hitch installed. I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98902 for your 2020 Mazda CX-5 because it gives you the 2" receiver you likely need with a wheelchair platform plus it comes with a matte black finish that not only looks stylish but it also does a better job at hiding scuffs and marks from road debris than the standard glossy finish on other hitches.

You'll also need wiring and for that I recommend the T-One # 118746 because it tees in behind your tail lights and it's the most reliable option out there.

Unfortunately I wouldn't have a way of knowing this. My best recommendation is to call the shop up and tell them what you're needing done. The install manuals for the above-mentioned hitch and harness are attached below. You can show the shop these and they should be able to use them to provide a really accurate estimate.
