Will MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box for Lippert 1716 Change Trailer Nose Height

Question:

I have the lippert 1716 pin box on my trailer and I was looking at the MORryde/rpb72-1716 and noticed the overall height is 2-7/16 shorter over all height then the lippert 1716 pin box will this lower the front of my trailer 2-7/16?

The MORryde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box like part # MR97VR for 14K to 18K trailers will spec out about the same as what the original pin box does in regards to the dimensions. I have attached the dimensions of said pin box below. If there is a difference, it is likely very small and can be compensated for by adjusting the height on the trailer side via multiple mounting holes or the vehicle side via the fifth wheel hitch head height settings therefore the trailer should stay level without new components.
