Question:
Light works but jack will not and when I try the switch the light goes out I first thought ground so I tried a jumper with to ground but it didn’t help Any idea what it may be, battery is fully charged

Expert Reply:
Since the light on your etrailer Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX is still working and the battery is fully charged the jack switch most likely has gone out or the wiring to it is corroded. You can remove the cover of the head and replace the switch with part # EJ-3520-PSW.
If the switch isn't the issue then the motor may also be the issue. Unfortunately there isn't currently a replacement motor available so you'd be looking at completely replacing the jack.
