Recommended Weight Distribution System with Sway Control for Forest River Wildwood 270RTK
Published 08/24/2022 >
Question:
I’m in the process of getting a 2022 WILDWOOD FSX 270RTKX. Ill be towing it with a 2021 Ram 1500 5.7L V8 MDS VVT eTorque. I wont be hauling any toys or anything like that. Will be relatively similar to the dry weight. Dont know how my truck will handle it but want to get a anti-sway hitch. Not sure what kind to get or anything like that. Ive tried to look into them but I get a little confused. Any help is much appreciated.

The best weight distributing systems for sway control are integrated systems meaning there isn't a separate friction sway bar, it's built into the spring bar. This type makes install easier and they preform better overall. I recommend the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution System part # BLU59FR which is a complete system that doesn't require any drilling to install. It also comes with a pre-torqued hitch ball.
