Question:

I have purchased this Rail kit for my 2022 Ram 3500 short bed w/air suspension, unfortunately, it will not work with this setup due to air suspension factory brackets. The rail bracket cant be installed because there are no mounting holes in the frame. I have to return my BandW 5TH wheel hitch and the rails and go with a gooseneck style setup.

The B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches item # BWRVK2602 are custom rails that are meant to minimize drilling and install time but still may require you to drill. They are meant for the Ram 2500's not the 3500's. Our information that we get from B&W says this rail kit will fit models with factory Air Suspension system. These industry standard rails will work with the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3255.

For your 2022 Ram 3500 we have a set of custom installation rails that will also work with your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch item # BWRVK3255. They are the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2605. So long as the brackets will fit on your frame they will work. You won't need to switch to a gooseneck style setup which will not be compatible with your sidewinder turret.
