Question:
Hi, wondering if there are any options available to address a leaf spring sagging issue. I already replaced the factory leaf springs with heavier rated springs on both sides. The trailer still sags on the passenger side. there is about a 1 difference between the top of the springs and the frame rail between both sides. Sometimes the tires rub the underside on large bumps in the road. Ive been looking at sumo springs a little, but Im not entirely sure how to size them. This is on a 2015 Keystone Hideout 27DBS. Thanks!

We do have a solution for your 2015 Keystone Hideout 27DBS's sagging leaf springs. They are called SumoSprings and they provide progressive load support that gives you additional support as needed. They work great to balance off center loads like the issue you are experiencing. It sounds like the passenger side of your trailer is noticeably heavier because of a slide out or kitchen. The SumoSprings act as shock absorbers, taking the brunt of bumps and rough roads.
We have two options depending on the location of your axle. If your axle is located above your leaf springs you will want the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket item # TSS-107-40. If your axle sits below your leaf springs you will need item # TSS-106-40. You will need one set per axle.
I also recommend checking to make sure your trailer isn't overloaded.

My keystone trailer 28 ft originally came with 4500 lb axles. I have upgraded the axles to 7,000 lb axles and 3,000 lb springs. The kitchen appliances are all on the passenger side including the pantry. The passenger side measuring between the top of the spring pack is still 1 inch shorter. Most of the weight would be in front of or over the front axle. ( Kitchen) Passenger side 10 foot slide out drivers side opposite kitchen. Fresh water tank is the only thing behind the back axle I have all of the symptoms in your video when a 18 wheeler passes. Will the sumo springs compensate for this or do I need to increase to 3500?
