Solution For A Fan-Tastic Fan 7300 Series That's Remote Is Not Working Or Pairing
Updated 07/25/2022 | Published 07/22/2022 >
Question:
I have a Fan-Tastic fan 7300 in my Lance trailer. When we first bought the used trailer the remote worked fine. We went on a camping trip and it got extremely cold and we had ice and snow on the roof a couple of mornings. Since then, the remote no longer works. I have tried re-pairing it to the fan, but the remote never goes into program mode with the blinking lights. I bought another remote to try that, and it has the same problem. Could the ice/snow have damaged the circuit board of the fan to prevent it from working with the remote? The fan works completely as normal with the manual knob. Thank you.

The snow/ice could very well have damaged the control board on your Fan-Tastic Fan 7300. However, with unit being discontinued the replacement control board is no longer available.
With that being said, It may be a great idea to upgrade your current unit. If this is something you're interested in, the:
-Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350.
This fan functions as both an exhaust, and circulating fan, has a remote, and a controlled vent cover. This is a great upgrade option I highly recommend should you consider it.
I have also included a product overview video for you to check out as well.
