Should The Plug-In Connector On The Furrion Camera Fully Plug Into The Wiring Harness Connector

Is the plug on back of camera supposed to plug in all the way? It shows some of the silver connector.

In my experience the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS43TASF has always fully plugged into the connector so you may have have debris inside of it preventing it from fully connecting. If you can't get it out then you can replace the connector with the one from part # FRCBRKT-BL.
Simply remove the mount and pull the wiring out from the trailer and cut it and splice in the new connector with some heat shrink butt connectors # DW05743-10.
One other thing I want to mention is that if you have a newer GMC or Chevy truck (2020+) the PWM wiring will not provide enough power to properly operate the camera and give you a signal. To fix this you can splice in the PWM Filter # VGR64VR in-line before you attach the new connector. I've attached a video below showing how to do this.
