Hi We have a 16 ft Sweetwater with a good galvanized trailer. Are there side guides with pvc tops for this, to aid in bring the boat in?

It sounds like you're looking for guide-ons like the CE Smith Post-Style Guide-Ons for Boat Trailers # CE27620. These fit trailer frames up to 3" wide and 4-1/4" tall. The overall height with the white PVC pipes on the posts is 40". They are also available in black # CE27626.
The other option for guides on the outside of the trailer is the roller style like the # CE27610. Since it is a pontoon boat you may also be interested in the CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers # CE27672.
