Question:
I have been researching motorcycle hitches and receivers and I find that my Hyundai Elantra GT can only fit a Class I receiver but most or all hitches are Class II. Im looking into anything fancy like a trailer but a small hitch that holds the front wheel. Is there anyway to adapt the receiver to fit a Class II? Thanks!

You are correct, the only hitches available that fit your 2017 Hyundai Elantra are Class I like the Draw-Tite Sportframe # 24905. Unfortunately, there is no way to convert this into a Class II hitch with a higher capacity. Also, both would still have a 1-1/4" receiver. If you meant is there a way to adapt the receiver into a 2" receiver then that will also not be possible. Even if you could use an adapter it would reduce the capacity of the hitch by 50%.
The only way you will be able to tow your motorcycle with your Elantra will be with a trailer like the # K2MMT5X7 you looked at. You will also need a ball mount like the # 3594 and the # 19258 for a 2" ball. For wiring to power the trailer's signal lights you can use the # 118692.
