When you’re carrying kayaks, ladders, or camping gear, you need bars that won’t flex or shift. These Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty crossbars are built from aluminum and rated for 220 lbs, giving you solid strength without unnecessary weight. The sturdy design keeps your load stable through long drives and rougher roads.
Loose or sliding gear can damage both your cargo and rack. The integrated rubber strips inside the top channels add grip and cushioning, helping to keep ladders, boards, or other accessories from slipping around. They also provide a bit of slip resistance when loading or unloading on your own.
These square bars are designed to work with Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty accessories that mount directly in the top channels. good quality product and great service from etrailers
This is an excellent product. It was the only product that would fit my truck. I was able to mount it by myself, it took me longer than I thought it would, but it helps if you watch first a video on line about how to put it together. The support staff is excellent if you miss any parts. I highly recommend it for the 2015 Nissan Rogue.

Two items I received surprised me when I unpacked the box were the rails because they were not black like I saw in the picture, and the rubber insert that I am having a hard time sliding in the rail. Should this rubber insert have come already installed in the rail or is there a top on how to put in with ease?
The rack fit well and was easy to install. Seems to be made well. The problem is the amount of road noise. I never even put the basket on. It was so loud, it roared. I repositioned it several times but the noise was way too much and I finally just removed it. I spent a lot of money for the rack and the basket and now they are in storage. I wish it would have worked out better because I thought it looked really good.
The rubber cushion pads don’t click on the mounting and fall off while trying to install rack on the roof.
Well engineered rack that fits my Ram 2500 crew cab well. A bit of wind noise at highway speeds. I have the heavy duty cross pieces with a square cross section.
This is my second Rhino-Rack. They go on very easily and hold the bikes/kayaks and even an extension ladder very well....thanks for a great product
Product arrived on time and was pretty easy to install. Works great, no movement whatsoever. We're using it for two kayaks (with separate kayak racks), had zero issues taking them into the mountains.
Good product, now installed on my HR-V. Easy to order, timely delivery, and all parts included. Assembly instructions were not intuitive (parts list was fine) and therefore somewhat frustrating, but I was able to puzzle through them and wound up with an intact finished rack. The crossbars are not quite four feet wide, which will make transporting a 4 x 8 sheet of anything somewhat of a challenge. Overall, however, quite satisfied.
This rack worked out great... I installed in on a 2017 Ford F-150. We drove 6 hrs through wind and rain with a SUP and Tandem Kayak on top. It really took a beating in a storm the whole way. One bracket was a little loose and shifted because of the wind on the Kayak, but it held together. Super happy with Rhino rack!
This kit is easy to slap on and sturdy enough to balance my skis and snowboards. I recently used the Rhino Rack on a three hour drive to a ski resort and had no issues.
I was in a roof rack jam. There was a national shortage of the rack I needed for my car and our summer vacation was a week away. I went to etrailer.com when I couldnt find the roof rack anywhere else on the web. Another website actually suggested that they might have what I needed.

The whole kit fits great on my Honda HR-V. Assembly was simple and mounting took about 15 minutes. My Kayaks fit well and securely. I would recommend this product to a friend.
Great product everything fit perfectly. With the heavy duty bars almost all the hardware for anything you put on the rack is too short
Ordered a Rhino Rack for my 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. Rack arrived in very good shape and all items were there. Installing at this time and see no problems ahead.
love it, no problem and easy to install and take on and off, 47,000 miles on the highway and not a single issue. I even like the song the ladder hums to me driving down the interstate. This is my second Rhino and both have preformed to a high standard.

Been wanting to get a roof rack for my small Honda H-RV suv for some time now. Finally decided to pull the trigger on one and opted for this Rhino rack system.
Watching the etrailer install video and following the manufacturer's instruction, the front rack went on easily and perfectly. However, the rear track turned out to be a very long process. Why? Because I thought the manufacturer's measurements for the rear was an error. After the rack was assembled, it didn't seat into the roof channel at all. It appeared to be well short. So, I proceeded to use my mechanical ingenuity to get this rack to fit on my own. After a lengthy span of time and numerous adjustments, I'd come to realize that the manufacturer's measurements were correct. The footing did not sit perfectly until the unit was fully tightened against the vehicle. Live and learn.....once again.
The rack is absolutely solid, and looks very clean and sharp on top of the H-RV. I could not detect any additional noise while driving, even at highway speed.
The main purpose of this roof rack was for transporting my recreational kayak. I was not aware that these bars had a rubber strip running along the entire top of the bar. This turned out to be perfect for the kayak. Now, I didn't need to buy a specific kayak cradle. The kayak, one strapped down, is held absolutely secured to the rack.
I am very happy with this product! Once again, etrailer comes through perfectly with another of my order. Prompt service and indepth product info are the reasons why I shop here!
This rack works perfectly on my Nissan Versa for carrying my two Perception Sound 9'6" kayaks. The Rhino-Racks look good to me. The kayaks can rest directly on the rubber pads on the rails, unlike the Yakama racks I had in the past that had bare pipe rails. Also, I expect I can buy parts to adapt this product to a different car without having to buy new towers. I am sorry there are not hooks or loops to attach bungees when carrying lumber. They are noisy in the wind, but less so when carrying the kayaks.
