Correct Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box For 2015 Keystone Montana High Country 305RL

Question:

I have a 2015 Montana Keystone 305RL. I am wanting to convert the hitch to a gooseneck. The sticker on the trailer has a LCI #3695361. The other sticker is stating it’s a slippery 1116. I see the Gen-Y hitches that fit but do not see any that have auto latch and have the correct tongue weight. The tow vehicle will be a 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali dually with the factory prep package. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for providing that helpful information. So we know you need a Gen-Y that fits a Lippert 1116. I also have the GVWR of your 2015 Keystone Montana 305RL which is 3,140 lbs. Using the Gen-Y formula of GVWR x 0.22 = TW we get 3,140 lbs. According to this calculated tongue weight, the correct Gen-Y 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box is the # GY48FR. This has a pin weight capacity range of 2,500-4,500 lbs and the auto-latch you're looking for.
