Suspension Enhancement for a 2005 Chevy Express Van 1500

Question:

I want to eliminate the sagging ride height on my van and also decrease sagging while towing. Will timbrens not help in both categories? Is there a way to install a block underneath them to increase ride height?

Timbren springs # TGMRG25C and other jounce style springs will work to eliminate the sag of your van when it is loaded. It will also help when towing a trailer though weight distribution is better suited for that application. But since you want something for when towing and when not towing, going with Timbren springs would be the way to go.

If the van is sagging when not loaded or towing then the have the suspension inspected first because suspension enhancement should only be used on vehicles with suspension in good working order.

You would not want to place blocks between the Timbren springs and the axle because that will make for a stiff ride. To raise the ride height you may be able to do a suspension lift at a qualified custom shop but doing so would then require spacers for Timbren springs equivalent to amount of rise in the lift. Spacers are currently only available in 1 inch size.
