Question:

I would like to buy a portable macerator pump for my Grand Design Solitude RV that connects to a 3/4 standard garden hose, Flojet 18555-000A or equivalent. Will the Valterra Gray Water Drain Adapter for RV Black Water Waste Valve Item # T1020-5VP connect a garden hose to a bayonet style sewer adapter, such as the EZ Coupler 4-in-1 Threaded RV Sewer Adapter with 90-Degree Elbow Fitting - Clear? It appears that this will work, but I wanted to be certain. Thanks!

The bayonet part of the Flo-Jet macerator is going to connect to your 3" black tank waste valve as the input and use a 3/4" garden hose connection as the output so you wouldn't need the EZ Coupler 4-in-1 Threaded RV Sewer Adapter # F02-3112CL or the Valterra Gray Water Drain Adapter # T1020-5VP.

You would just need your black tank waste valve to have a bayonet fitting for the macerator to attach to like the # T50A has. If you are unsure if your waste valve has a bayonet fitting you can send me a picture and I can confirm it for you.
