Question:

Can the orange end pieces on this hose be removed and re-attached or is the hose no good if I took them off?

The RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Extension with Swivel Lug and Bayonet Fittings # CAM39765 and similar items do have removable orange fittings but there are not replacement parts available. If you have the fittings then you just need the hose #CAM39671. If you misplace the you will need to replace the entire hose with # CAM39765.

The orange fittings are held in place on the hose itself by a black locking ring. This is the component that is between the orange adapter and the hose proper, as noted in the linked photo.

The black locking ring and the orange adapter both have directional arrows on them to tell you which way to rotate them to remove and then reinstall these parts. An extra set of hands will make this easier but I was able to do it myself on a sample in our warehouse.
