Compatibility of Replacement Shanks with Fastway e2 Hitch 92-00-0450

Hi. The e2™ Trunnion Hitch Shank advertised on Fastways website says These shanks will fit 6K, 8K, 10K, and 12K trunnion models. This implies that these Fastway shanks - and etrailer part #FA92-02-4100 - WONT fit the Fastway e2 4.5K trunnion model 92-00-0450. Is this true? If so, why isnt etrailer part #FA92-02-4100 compatible with the Fastway e2 4.5K trunnion model 92-00-0450? It looks like the etrailer part dimensions are very similar to the dimensions of the original hitch shank that came with my Fastway e2 4.5K trunnion model 92-00-0450.

I reached out to Fastway and they verified that you can use the Shank # FA92-02-4100 with your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0450. Their site shows it with the heavier 6K-12K hitches as that is what that hitch comes with. The Shank 92-02-4116 that comes with your hitch is only available with the entire kit.
If you are needing a shank with more drop the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4214 gives you 5-1/2" of drop compared to only 1/2" drop with the other shanks.
