Helpful Expert Reply:
For a strap for winch # DL14125 you will need 2 inch wide strap # DL24239. It is rated for 4,000 pounds and is 15 feet long. To attach a cable all you have to do is locate the set of elongated holes on the drum closest to the center of the drum. The strap comes with a bolt and nut. The bolt goes through one hole, through the loop in the strap, and through the other hole. The nut secure it on the other side. The nut should be on the gear side.
I have included a link to a video review of this winch for you.
