Question:
Hello I have a REDARC elite brake controller. Redarc recommended a TPH015 harness for my Toyota Tacoma 2021, but is shorted. You are recommending a RED99FR harness. Can you let me know what the difference is

Expert Reply:
So the only difference is actually the part number for the plug and play wiring harness for your 2021 Toyota Tacoma to go with the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR.
The TPH-015 is the correct plug and play harness for your '21 Tacoma, and we simply have it listed as our own part number, which is the one you mentioned:
- Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # RED99FR
I also wanted to add, just in case you don't have the mounting panel for the control knob, that the correct fit for your '21 Tacoma is the Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-002.
