Parts Needed to Install Redarc Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller in 2016 Ford F-150

Question:
This is my second Redarc, but I need guidance on this vehicle. All the OEM installed controllers seem to need a FORScan OBD2 cord and subscription to re-program enable the brake controller. Does this Redarc with the factory cable adapter need any such programming? Presumably the controller handles the brains of the operation? Is there a better experience if its enabled?

To install the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty # RED24FR in your 2016 Ford F-150 all you need is the correct install harness part # 331-TPH-007 which plugs in under the dash. You do not need to do any programming of the vehicle for this to be active and function.
