Is Trailer Breakaway Kit a One-And-Done System
Published 05/18/2022 >
Question:
Once the pin has been pulled out of the switch, can it read and used as if hadn’t been removed in the first place. Or is it a one and done system, meaning a new pin and cable is required to restore to function as designed?

Good question, but no, a breakaway kit like the Bright Way # 3802311 or Hopkins Engage # 20400 are not one-and-done systems.
You can pull the pin and then reuse the system, and in fact, you'll want to pull the pin when testing one after an install to ensure it activates your brakes.
