Question:
Converting 4pin to 7pin part 37185. Do I need to run a battery lead if I purchase wireless controller c51180?. How heavy a wire do I use if needed and what is your part number for inline fuse?

Expert Reply:
You would indeed need to run a 12-v circuit to the positive battery terminal. If you don't already have the # 37185, we sell the adapter, wire, circuit breaker and hardware as a kit as part # ETBC7L.
If you DO already have the # 37185, you'll need a length of # 12-1-1 12 gauge wire (sold by the foot) long enough to reach from the rear of the vehicle to the positive battery terminal, a # PK54530 30 amp circuit breaker, two # 44-5310A ring terminals and one # 44-5356A ring terminal.
I've linked to a video showing the # ETBC7L being installed on a 2020 Hyundai Palisade like yours.
