Question:

Is there a hybrid option available to accommodate one e-bike with fenders Frame mount and one carbon frame wheel mount? My wife has a Townie 5i with fenders and I have a Trek Domane SL5. I like the RockyMounts Backstsage but Im concerned the Townie fenders wont work with that model. This will be mounted on a 2021 Toyota Highlander. Thanks!

As of right now there aren't any bike racks which work like that so your best solution is to use a frame hitch mount bike rack an adapter bar like part # TH982XT for the Townie 5i and then the Thule Carbon Bike Frame Protector # TH984101 for your Trek Domane SL 5.

The RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack # RKY10002 is a nice bike rack but since it secures bikes by the wheel it won't be good for the Townie fender. Instead I recommend using either the Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR or the Destination E Bike Rack # HLY66ZR. If you want to use that swing away feature for hatch access on your 2021 Toyota Highlander you can also get the Kuat Pivot 2 # PVP20B as well.
