Question:
I want to replace the gas shocks on my RV. The application is for the under bed storage compartment. I removed the queen size RV mattress and replaced it with a regular inner spring queen size mattress. The existing 80 lb. Shocks are woefully inadequate. I dont have a scale, but will get one. Im interested in getting a type that can use the existing mounting hardware. I will get the scale so I am certain on the weight. Meanwhile can you show me models that are 20 inches in length open that could use the existing mounting hardware? Once Ive confirmed the weight I can make a purchase.

Since you mentioned 80 lb shocks being inadequate, I'll go ahead and give you gas shocks with at least 100 lbs of force that are 20 inches long. I don't have any way of knowing what mounting hardware you have, but I can tell you each of these shocks attach to 10mm ball sockets.
