Can I Use the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 on a Flat-Towed Vehicle?

Question:
Is this hitch mount bike rack acceptable to use on the back of a tow vehicle being pulled by a Class A motorhome? It has one of the sturdiest hitch set ups Ive ever seen and has a lock and an extra safety pin. Secondly, I like to cover my bikes while traveling, but need some type of brake/turn signal lighting that I can use, as the bike rack only has reflectors. The CURT # 53201 LED Aux lights dont work with the full set up, only just when running the tow vehicle. Suggestions?

While we do have options for bike racks that are compatible on flat-towed vehicles, the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202 does not work. This is because the EasyFold XT is not constructed to withstand the additional force/torque that is exerted on a rack that is behind a flat-towed vehicle even with the sturdy hitch tightening mechanism.
If having a ramp is important to you for easy mounting and removing, I recommend the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches # BA22B along with the Access Ramp for Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack # ANVBRB. The 2.0 comes with a wheel-mount attachment style that gives you a more secure attachment than frame-mounted styles. If you happen to have fat-tire bikes that are 3-5 inches wide, you need the # APBK for each of those bikes.
While we do have tow lights with a wiring harness that is long enough to connect to your motorhome's 4-way plug (as opposed to the short wiring on the Curt # C53201), the ones we carry need to be mounted on your tow vehicle as opposed to the Kuat NV 2.0. This is because if you plan to have the rack covered, this eliminates any possible mounting location on the rack. The lights will be clearly visible. In order to determine what lights are compatible, feel free to respond with your vehicle's year/make/model and I will be happy to recommend the best kit.
