Does the tail light assembly need a new grommet to install and if so do you have the piece ? Thank You.

Nope, a grommet is not required in order for you to install LED Trailer Tail Light w/ Reflector - Weatherproof - 4 Function - 76 Diodes - Clear/Red Lens # DG52721PB.
The # DG52721PB come in a mounting bracket already with holes for screws on the top, bottom, and sides.
