Brake Controller Recommendation for 2013 Nissan Frontier with Tow Package

Question:

Hello, I am looking for a trailer brake for a 2013 Nissan Frontier that has a factory installed tow package. Can you suggest a few options? I would like the control to be basic and mount in the cab under the console.

For a basic but great brake controller the Brake EVN # TK63VR would work well in your 2013 Nissan Frontier. It would install to the factory wiring of your vehicle with the part # 3050-P which plugs in under the dash. It comes with hardware to easily attach to the console as well.

For a brake controller with an even smaller foot print that installs with just a small knob on the dash of the vehicle the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR would be a great option that would install with just the install harness part # RED39FR.

Another option is the Curt Echo part # C27JR which installs with the # C51382. This would be basic or simple in a way that once you set this up with your smart phone you wouldn't have to mess with any brake controller settings or even have to see it installed at all. You'd just connect the trailer and be able to start towing and it would revert always to last used settings and work really well. This would leave no foot print on the dash at all since it's wireless.
