Correct Lunette Ring With Nut To Fit a 1-1/2" Mounting Hole

A previous answer for the Buyers product states that the m39X2 shank is rougly 1.2. My websearch indicated the conversion was 1.52. My trailer nose plate has what appears to be factory holes of approx. 1 1/2+. If Buyers is really 1.2, is the Curt offering, with the M48X5 closer to 1.5, even though that web conversion indicates that to be 1.8+ inches? Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you are going to need the Buyers Products 2-1/2" I.D. Forged Alloy Steel Lunette Ring with Nut # 337BDB12503 that fits a 1-1/2" mounting hole.
I checked the Buyers Products 3" I.D. Forged Alloy Steel Lunette Ring with Nut # 337BDB12492H in our warehouse and confirmed with Buyers Products that it has a 2"-4.5 thread pitch. This would require a 2" hole to mount the ring.
The Curt Lunette Ring # C48530 with a m48-5 will also require a 2" mounting hole.
