Question:
My Yamaha boat trailer came w/o brakes and Id like to add them. From what I can tell, I have a 3,500lb axle. I will need the brake assembly, hubs, and wiring I already have 7pin w/ brake controller in my tow vehicle, but my trailer is only 4 way flat. Can you point me to the parts I will need to complete this job? The following is the information on my Shorelandr trailer: VIN Number: 1MDAPAR13CAXXXXXX Frame: YAV2413SW Model Year: 2012 Finish: BLACK METALLIC Mfg Date: 2012-03-15 00:00:00 Thanks much!

For your Shoreland'r boat trailer you will need the following parts.
Self Adjusting Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA
Galvanized Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-G-K
Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box # HS381-9000
Trailer Breakaway Kit # 20400
It appears your trailer already came with Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS, be sure to check them for any damage to determine if they should be replaced.
You will need 12 Gauge Wire # 12-1-1 to run to the brakes and I recommend Heat Shrink Butt Connectors # DW05745-5 with any wiring connections since it is a boat trailer.
