How Can The Access Plate For The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning Be Installed?

Question:

Should I mount the access plates under the flange butted against the flange edge or to the middle of the radius. Or should I mount it on the flange against the corner piece? I have A FR Cedar Creek 5th wheel.

According to the instructions, the access plate on the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000165062 can be mounted with the flat edge at the top or the bottom depending on which option allows for a more square installation on the unit.

Additionally, the instructions also state that you can install the access plate above the t-molding or on the t-molding.

If you're installing on the t-molding, you'll start on one side of the front of the slide-out by placing one of the two access brackets against the bottom of the T-molding at the top corner of the slide-out as close to the corner as possible. Keeping the mounting bracket parallel with the bottom edge of the T-molding.

If you're installing on the T-molding, start on one side of the front of the slide-out, by placing one of the two access brackets at the very bottom corner of the T-molding, as close to the outside of the T-molding as possible without going over the corner mold.

You'll also want to make sure that the screws do not go over the roof line.
