For your Thomas Payne dual reclining loveseat, there could be a number of reasons why your recliner will not recline any longer.

Lippert, the manufacturer of these recliners, has recommended you first unplug the unit from power, and let it sit for around 10 minutes. Sometimes a simple turn off, turn on fix is all that is needed to fix an issue.

Another thing you can do is swap the cup holders, and see if the functions change on the chairs. If the left side works with the other cup holder, then you know the cup holder is the issue.

We do carry a couple of replacement cup holders for Thomas Payne recliners like # 195-387597 for Momentum series recliners, or # LC37ED for seismic series recliners.

If none of that works, you're going to need to unbolt the recliner, and check the power control box for continuity with # PTW2993. If you determine you need a new power control box, you can use # LC36FR for seismic series recliners, or # 195-387596 for momentum series recliners.

Would switching out the cupholders be an option for the seismic series? The controls are not in the cupholder on seismic recliner. Thanks, trying to figure out what part I need. Thinking controller, lights work, but no recline.

@Dianen Hey Dianen since the opening and closing of the chair isn't controlled by the cupholders on that series I'd go ahead and replace the control box with the Replacement Power Control Box for Thomas Payne Seismic Recliners and Sofas # LC36FR. But before that, if you haven't already I'd suggest first unplugging the units and letting them sit for about 10 minutes to reset; it's possible that this could get everything back working. If there is any way to examine the wiring under the seats to make sure that none of the wires are pinched, I would also check that to make sure that a pinched wire isn't causing any issues.
