I am trying to find a compartment door lock for a motorhome. It has a tm500 key and measures 4 1/2”x5” black

Given the key number you provided, you have a TriMark lock. We don't offer TriMark lock, but the GlobalLink # 295-000015 baggage compartment slam latch has the identical measurement as your TriMark. The only issue is that it won't be keyed the same as your existing lock.
