Do I need a wiring harness to install a trailer brake controller on my 2024 Ford Ranger with the factory tow package?

On brake controllers like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 it will come with a pigtail needed to install on your 2024 Ford Ranger. This pigtail will need to be wired to the factory wires under your dash and will then plug into the brake controller.
If you are looking at a controller like the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR which does not come with any pigtail, you will need their Universal Harness # RED69FR.
