Question:

I understand there is a noise dampening kit for the access cover ACI26039 when used on 2022 ridgeline due to unibody construction of truck. Is it successful in limiting the noise caused by cover?

The Access Limited Edition Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # A26039 comes custom fit for your 2022 Honda Ridgeline along with seals to help the fit for your truck. The noise dampening kit that comes with the cover will need to be installed, yes. As far as noise level goes I haven't had to deal with this cover yet but my contact at Access said you would want to use it which leads me to believe this does work.

What I will say is that the Access brand tends to have more of the economy-style covers and if I felt like I needed a noise dampening kit then it might be worth going with more of a middle-of-the-road brand like the TruXedo Pro X15 Soft Tonneau Cover # TX1430601. I've never had an issue recommending something from TruXedo so I recommend going that route instead.
