Question:
Need a sway control/WD hitch for my 10K camper, 955lbs TW. I have a ram 2500 and would like to lower tailgate while hitched up. What do you recommend?

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 12,000 lbs GTW, 1,200 lbs TW # EQ37120ET you looked at would be a great choice for your camper. The tongue weight range on this system is 800-1,200 lbs so your actual tongue weight falls nicely in the middle. This WDH will do a great job keeping you level while reducing sway with the integrated 4-point sway control.
Since you are looking for additional clearance, I recommend the # EQ37121ET without the shank. Then, you will want to get the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 18" Long - 7" Rise, 3" Drop - 600 to 1,400 lbs TW # EQ90-02-4500. This is the extra long shank that works with the Equal-i-zer system. I would recommend measuring to make sure this will give you the clearance you need. The shank measures 18" long overall and 15" from the hitch pin hole.
I have attached some review videos for your reference.
