Signal Strength Of The Lippert Tire Linc OneControl TPMS Sensors
Updated 03/03/2022 | Published 03/01/2022 >
Question:
Regarding the Lippert TPMS. 1. Is the repeater necessary for a 32 5th wheel? 2. How do you turn off the blue tooth sensors when not in use to preserve their battery life? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
Since the maximum range of communication for the Tire Linc OneControl TPMS w/ Signal Booster for RVs and Trailers # LC37VR is 33 feet, with the repeater, it is going to be necessary. Lippert actually recommends staying under 25 feet from the repeater for the best signal strength.
As for turning off the repeater and sensors, all you have to do is close the app and after twenty minutes without use the sensors and repeater will go into sleep mode to preserve battery life.
