Replacing 1,000 Watt Progressive Dynamics Pure Sine Wave Inverter with 2,000 Watt Unit

Question:

2021 Airstream Flying Cloud with a Progressive Dynamics 1000 watt inverter installed from the factory. Also have two roof mounted 90 watt solar panels with monitor. A potable 45 watt bookcase that plugs into battery case. Total of 225 watts solar. I purchased today your Progressive Dynamics 2000 watt inverter. Can I just swap out the 1000 watt for the 2000 watt?

That is a definite maybe. I suggest you review the installation instructions that I linked below for the 2,000 Watt Progressive Dynamics Pure Sine Wave Inverter w/ Transfer Switch, # PD64FR. Ensure that the unit installed by the dealership matches the manufacturer installation instructions. If it was installed according to the instructions from Progressive Dynamics, you should then be able to make a remove and replace of components and be good-to-go.
