Can The Curt XD Shock Absorbing Ball Mount Replace A Weight Distribution Hitch

Question:

If I hookup my travel trailer and truck without WD the truck and trailer are no longer level. I need the WD for both to be level. Does the Curt Rebellion replace the WD? It would be nice not to have to remove/replace bars every time I unhook and hookup.

The Curt Rebellion XD Shock Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount w/ 2" and 2-5/16" Balls - 20K # C57UR is going to help dampen the jerking, jarring, bumps, vibrations, chucking, and rattling you may be experiencing but isn't going to evenly distribute the tongue weight of your trailer.

This means you will still have excessive squat which can give you a rough bumpy ride that will also wear your rear tires quicker, reduce your braking capacity, and disrupt the handling of your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500. I recommend sticking with your WDH to give you the best ride possible.
