Is There a Steel Version Of The Andersen Ultimate 5TH Wheel Hitch That Fits 2018 Ram 2500 Prep/Pucks

Does Andersen make a STEEL version of the gooseneck pyramid hitch that works with the RAM OEM puck system and gooseneck ball? Not sold on aluminum and not sure about a steel version either. Thanks

The Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter # AM3200 has a steel construction. Unlike the gooseneck connected systems that are made of aluminum this adapter is designed to drop into 5th wheel rails. Since your 2018 Ram 2500 has the factory prep/puck system a Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # DM6099 will fit into either the 6-1/2" or 8' bed length mounts. This will allow you to use the Andersen hitch.
Since the Andersen hitch makes your trailer connection a ball mount you are required to have safety chains connecting your truck and trailer. The Andersen Ultimate Safety Chain Kit # RM3230 provides you with new bolts for the king pin coupler that allows you to attach safety chains.
