Can I Use My Current Atwood Jack System with the HappiJac # LC736515-ELKIT?

Question:

I have a Lance Camper with Atwood electric Jacks, I want to replace only jacks with HappiJac Electric Jacks 36-1/2 11,200, I will rewire the Happijac connects to atwood connections and use the atwood controller. Do you see any problem with doing this

I went ahead and reached out to both my tech and my parts expert from Lippert (the makers of Happijack), and they unfortunately confirmed that the HappiJac Electric Truck Camper Jack System - 36-1/2" Lift # LC736515-ELKIT requires the specific components included with the installation hardware. Using your Atwood setup can possible damage the control panel of the HappiJac system (if it even works at all). The best and safest route is to completely replace your setup with the complete HappiJac system.
