Troubleshooting Anti-Rattle for Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack Not Working

Question:
My rack won’t tighten and secure to the hitch. It is unlocked of course. Feels like some friction when turning but won’t really grab into the hitch like it has been prior. Stays loose so pretty much useless at this point. Any help appreciate

If you don't put the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 in your vehicle hitch receiver you should be able to tell if that anti-rattle piece on the shank expands when you tighten up the anti-rattle knob. If it expands like it's supposed to then I would check inside your hitch receiver to make sure everything is cleared out and nothing is hindering that from operating correctly.
If the anti-rattle device doesn't expand and the knob is unlocked then try making sure everything is lined up and in place and if it is that sounds like a warranty situation and I would try reaching out to Thule to pursue that.
