According to the installation instructions, the torque specification for the 2-5/16" ball that comes with the Blue Ox 2-Point Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 6-Hole Shank - 10K GTW, 1.2K TW item # BLU75FR is 260 ft lbs.

The socket you will need is the 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket - 3/4" Drive - Chromium-Vanadium Steel item # ALL643216.
