Will Curt Front Hitch for 2019 Ram 1500 Work with Active Air Dam
Updated 01/28/2022 | Published 01/27/2022 >
Question:
Do you have a front 2inch hitch receiver That will work on a 2019 ram 1500 limited where the front of the truck changes angle at speeds and has an air dam. In 2019 when I first purchased the truck e-trailer said there was nothing available but in reading some recent comments it looks like there may be a hitch receiver that will now work on the 2019 fifth generation RAM 1500. Can you please let me know and what alterations it may require and a link to a hitch receiver for a 2-in hitch

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C87FR which is a fit for a 2019 Ram 1500 will work on models with the active air damn behind the fixed splitter. This can actually be seen in a photo from the instructions which I attached below, it's in the lower left hand corner.
