Using the etrailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # e98ZR with a Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender # SAR36VR will be the easiest way to access the rear hatch on your 2021 Hyundai Palisade. This setup will require you to swing open the carrier when you access the rear hatch. And if you will be towing the carrier and swing base would need to be removed to tow.

To still be able to tow a trailer with your spare tire attached the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225 will allow for a tongue weight up to 400lbs. A Roadmaster Passenger Tire Adapter # RM-195225-95 is needed to fit your spare.

If you have a larger trailer you will either need to carry the spare in your rear storage compartment, in the trailer, or on a roof rack system like the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack # RR87QX. This rack is designed to mount to the flush rails on many Palisades. You will then be able to use the Eye Bolt Kit # RR43178 to secure the spare tire on your roof.
