How does the manual lockout work? No instructions or parts manual in the box

The manual Lockout Key # DX94FR works by sliding into the side slide channel on the Brake Actuator # T4500600. The key will prevent the actuator from sliding which will prevent the brakes from being applied when you need to back up with your trailer.
